Клубный танец шаффл впервые появился в Мельбурне (Австралия) в конце 80-х годов прошлого века. В то время была популярна музыка в стиле acid house, и шаффл стал одним из нескольких танцев, появившихся благодаря этому направлению. Основу техники шаффла составляют быстрые, «джазовые» танцевальные движения, но в наше время танец можно танцевать практически под любую электронную клубную музыку.
С самого момента появления шаффл активно развивался, в основном, в ночных клубах и на рейв-тусовках. Музыка в стиле техно постепенно заменялась на хаус и транс музыку. В 90-х годах вышел целый ряд видеофильмов, в которых можно увидеть, как танцоры исполняют шаффл. Как и у любого популярного танца у шаффла начали появляться подстили и вариации, а за первоначальным стилем закрепилось название «Melbourne Shuffle». В наше время танец стал настолько популярным, что практически в каждом городе можно найти танцевальную школу этого направления, а интернет переполняет множество профессиональных онлайн-уроков.
Shuffle club dance first appeared in Melbourne (Australia) at the end of the 80s of the last century. Acid house music was popular at the time, and the shuffle was one of several dances to emerge from this trend. The basis of the shuffle technique is fast, «jazz» dance movements, but nowadays you can dance to dance to almost any electronic club music.
From the moment of its appearance, the shuffle has been actively developing, mainly in night clubs and rave parties. Techno-style music was gradually replaced by house and trance music. In the 90s, a number of videos were released in which you can see how dancers perform shuffle. Like any popular dance, shuffles began to appear underlays and variations, and the name “Melbourne Shuffle” was assigned to the original style. Nowadays, dance has become so popular that in almost every city you can find a dance school in this area, and the Internet is full of many professional online lessons.
