Freddie Mercury and his microphone — Show Must Go On
Опубликовано: 12 янв. 2015 г.A tribute to Freddie Mercury and his way to use his...microphone
It's been hard to pick clips — among thousands — but I had to choose the most special ones — 'cause he naturally used it all the time.
So here you are.
There haven't been anyone until now who could remotely do what he and Queen did at the stage. You did it well!
I apologize for the poor quality — but when you rip something that have been ripped...and ripped...and ripped ;)
I don't own any of these clips — I just composed them together — including the music.
I therefore have no rights over them.
On June 7th, Europe took the stage in their home country Sweden for a very special occasion: celebrating 30 years of rock music. The Swedish rock band celebrated this event together with 30,000 people at the famous Sweden Rock Festival, playing a total selection of 28 songs, picking their personal favourite moments spanning from their earlier years up to their most recent songs taken from albums like «Last Look At Eden» and «Bag Of Bones»; for the lovers of statistics and rarities some of the songs had never been played live before.
The bombastic greatest hits show also has its soulful moment when the band sits down for an emotional acoustic set which gives the massive arena show a club feeling before the band goes back to the hard rock they are known for.
To pay tribute to some of their biggest heroes, Europe invited two very special guests to perform with them: Scott Gorham (Thin Lizzy) for an electrifying version of 'Jailbreak' and Michael Schenker (MSG, ex UFO and Scorpions) for one of hard rock's evergreens, UFO's classic 'Lights Out'.
The set list is full of treasures and surprises but Europe were determined to celebrated and enjoy their long record of hit singles: like 'Carrie', 'Rock The Night', 'Superstitious', ´Open Your Heart´, 'Last Look At Eden', ´Prisoners in Paradise´, 'New Love In Town' and, of course, the ever-present and always electrifying 'The Final Countdown'.
Over two hours and forty minutes of concert footage, in a state of the art High Definition movie featuring behind the scenes material and an exclusive interview with the band makes «Live At Sweden Rock — 30th Anniversary Show» the definitive Europe live experience!

2 Unlimited — Twilight Zone
2 Unlimited is a dance act founded by Belgian producers Jean-Paul DeCoster and Phil Wilde in 1991 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Dutch rapper Ray Slijngaard and Dutch vocalist Anita Doth fronted the act from 1991 to 1996. During the five years of 2 Unlimited's worldwide mainstream success, the act scored a total of 16 chart hits, including «Get Ready for This», «Twilight Zone», «No Limit», and «Tribal Dance». They have sold 18 million records worldwide. Although they enjoyed less mainstream recognition in the United States, many of their songs have become popular themes at American sporting events, particularly in the NHL and the NBA.
Twilight Zone was the second single released from 2 Unlimited's debut album Get Ready! in January 1992.
The UK release of the single was the first 2 Unlimited single in that country to include the vocals of Anita Doth as they had not been featured on their debut hit «Get Ready for This». However, Ray Slijngaard's raps were once again removed. The instrumental version of the track sounds different from the original version, with a more Hi-NRG style with more bass and added cowbells.
The release scored chart success in many European countries and topped the chart in The Netherlands. Twilight Zone was the second single in a row to just miss out on the top spot in the UK again peaking at number 2. It was 2 Unlimited's biggest hit on the U.S. Dance chart reaching number 5.
I feel you
I feel you
In every stone
In every leaf of every tree
If ever grown
I feel you
In everything
In every river that might flow
In every seed you might have sown
I feel you
In every stone
In every leaf of every tree
That you ever might have grow
I feel you
In everything
And every river that might flow
In every seed you might have sown
I feel you
I feel you
In every vain
In every beating of my heart
Each breath I take
I feel you
Anyway
In every tear the time I shed
In every word I've never said
I feel you
I feel you
I feel you
I feel you
I feel you
In every vain
In every beating of my hart
In in every breath I ever take
I feel you
Any way
In ever tear that I shed
In every word I've never said
I feel you
