Boney M. is a truly unforgettable name in the history of music. This glamorous and extremely likeable group came together in 1976 and ever since then occupied a special place in the hearts of music lovers the world over. Frank Farian (real name Franz Reuther https://youtu.be/mHGlRalt8gs), Liz Mitchell (https://youtu.be/N5cSoX3qneo), Maizie Williams (https://youtu.be/7LXcn3zJzk0), Marcia Barrett (https://youtu.be/naItx84TjvM), Bobby Farrell (https://youtu.be/LIPWn_NlRXg) and Reggie Tsiboe (from 1982 to 1990) formed Boney M.
Though Boney M. made modest beginnings, they soon turned into a major hit with their music which was catchy, lively and very rhythmic. Boney M's music has influences of Reggae, Funk, Rock, Gospel and Disco.
Their songs had distinctive soul soothing melodies and foot tapping beats and this is probably the reason why Boney M's songs were played non stop at all the discos around the world.
Boney M. — the most successful pop music export in the history of Germany. To date, worldwide sold more than 160 million copies of their albums and singles.

DISKOteka Festival 2019 — Episodul 1 — TVR1

Опубликовано: 1 янв. 2020 г.❗DISKOteka Festival, cel mai mare festival din Europa dedicat muzicii anilor ’80 și ’90, se vede la TVR1, în fiecare zi în perioada 31 decembrie — 1,2,3 și 4 ianuarie, începând cu orele 16:15❗

În fiecare dintre cele 5 ediții programate la TVR1, telespectatorii se vor bucura, dincolo de muzica care a marcat zeci de generații, de momente emoționante și pline de surprize aduse chiar de artiștii care au dominat topurile muzicale în anii ’80 – ’90.

A 2-a ediție a festivalului DISKOteka care va avea loc în perioada 1-3 mai, în Timișoara, tot pe stadionul ,,Dan Păltinișanu”. Pentru ediția a doua s-a înregistrat, deja, un nou record de vânzare, primele 5.000 de abonamente fiind deja cumpărate în mai puțin de o lună de când au devenit disponibile pe site-ul www.diskoteka.ro

DISKOteka Festival 2019, aflat la prima editie, a fost cu adevărat noul KM 0 al noțiunii de tinerețe și vă mulțumim tuturor.
