This song is dedicated to a forest tribe that I invented for my fantasy world (in which the novel will take place), the Alvae (Alva in Singular). I used Celtic instruments as well as a full orchestra for this song and wanted to give it several mood changes; Peaceful, ethereal, mysterious and a sense of pride and honour. It was difficult for me to show each aspect of the Alvae in this song because their characteristics are very complex.
The tribe of the Alvae will not be mentioned in the fantasy book itself that I'm writing because the story takes place several millennia before the tribe even emerges so for now this song is the only thing you'll get to „see" from them, I'm sorry.^^ I will maybe write an own novel about them in the future but at the moment I can't tell whether or not it will happen.

Composed and arranged 100% by myself on keyboard, as always.

Galantis — Mama Look At Me Now (Official Audio)

Опубликовано: 12 июл. 2018 г.Galantis — Mama Look At Me Now (Official Audio)
Out now: https://BigBeat.lnk.to/SMAY/youtube

The lyric is pretty self explanatory. Since the early days this has been an emotional journey for us, and in many ways this is a ”thank you” to those who always believed in us when no one else did.

Lyrics:
When I was younger no one ever could tell me how to live
My life
I started troubled that’s what young kids do
Yea I was young alright
My teacher said I’d be a failure
They call my mama just to tell her
Oh!

Your son is troubled there’s no doubt he’s never gonna leave this town
Well mama look at me now
Catch me wavin’ from the sky in a brand new G-5

Mama look at me now (now, now, now, now)
They said that kid was on slide, but he’s doing alright
Mama look at me now (Hey!)
Mama look at me now (Hey!)
C’mon look at me now (Hey!)
Mama look at me now (Hey!)
Mama look at me now
When I was younger no one ever could tell me how to live
My life
I told my mama not to worry cuz she worry ‘bout my world outside
They gave me pills to make me better
They call my mama just to tell her
Oh! Your son is trouble, good for nothing, he ain’t ever gonna leave this town

Mama look at me now
Mama look at me now
Mama look at me now
