Сначала она покорила индустрию танцев — с 7 лет Анна ездила на гастроли и, по ее словам уже в то время зарабатывала больше своих родителей. Затем, влюбившись во Владимира Преснякова, Плетнева решила запеть. В 20-летнем возрасте начинающая исполнительница стала участницей популярного девичьего трио «Лицей», заменив на данном посту Лену Перову. В составе поп-группы Анна пробыла восемь лет и, как призналась в эксклюзивном видеоинтервью «Вокруг ТВ», ее постоянно пытались задвинуть на второй план. Поэтому певица приняла решение уйти в сольное плавание.

В 2006 году вместе с бывшим участником группы «Амега» Алексеем Романоф Анна Плетнева создала группу «Винтаж». Сначала коллектив не принимали, но после выхода альбома SЕX «Винтаж» буквально взорвал все хит-парады. На сегодняшний день Анна Плетнева выступает как сольно, так и в составе популярной группы. Причем певица востребована не только в России — она часто гастролирует за рубежом. Также Анна пробует себя в амплуа продюсера. В эксклюзивном видеоинтервью «Вокруг ТВ» Плетнева рассказала о суровом российском шоу-бизнесе, травле в группе «Лицей», дружбе среди звезд, своих детях, а также поделилась, какой совет от Аллы Пугачевой помог ей в карьере.
